Mark Scott - Principal
Mark joined the firm in 2014, following 7 years experience in taxation and audit assurance at Deloitte. As a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and the Tax Institute, Mark also holds a Masters in Taxation Law and Financial Planning from the University of New South Wales. With over 10 years experience in the industry, Mark has assisted clients from individuals to large private corporations. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Macquarie University.
In assisting clients, Mark also provides superannuation advice for self-managed superannuation funds inclusive of contribution & pension strategies, tax concessions and estate planning strategies. Associated estate planning expertise has also included taxation review on death for testamentary, discretionary and unit trusts for such clients.
Brian Scott - Consultant
Brian commenced public practice in 1980, assisting businesses and individuals in greater Sydney, especially the Lane Cove area. As a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and the Tax Institute, Brian has substantial experience in a variety of disciplines and has assisted clients with tax planning and business management, becoming their trusted advisor for over 30 years.
The advice and assistance Brian has provided his clients, has been said by many of them to be invaluable.
As a Registered Company Auditor, Brian has been responsible for the audit of a number of small-to-medium enterprises and is also a SMSF auditor.
Sharon Scott - Associate
Sharon has assisted clients with various aspects of accounting and tax compliance for over 20 years. Working alongside Brian and Mark, Sharon has developed close relationships with her clients providing informed and current updates for changes to legislation, ensuring the highest quality of service, specialising in individual and business tax compliance.
Sharon prides herself on building a strong and lasting relationship with all clients, providing that personal attention many can overlook.
Kate Ryu - Assistant Accountant
Kate joined the firm in 2017 as an undergraduate at Macquarie University undertaking a Masters in Accounting. Kate has obtained a certification for Korean and English translation and is looking to develop a specialisiation in individual and superannuation tax compliance. Kate is also proficient in Xero and MYOB Cloud Accounting, assisting with the firm’s small to medium business clients reporting requirements.
